Reverend Stephen Strange

Lakeview is a church that not only has a view but a vision. In 2006, the church moved from the old location on Hwy 31 to Hwy 11. This means that this group of disciples are not only innovators; they are visionaries. They believe in taking risks so that they can become the Church that Christ has called them to be. My family and I have just joined the Lakeview community and have found it to definitely have a real family atmosphere. I believe in preaching the Gospel and challenging people to not only hear the gospel but to live out the gospel. I have a very evangelical approach to preaching and believe that God still moves peoples' hearts every day. My philosophy of ministry is simple. You do not go to Church but you are the Church. At Lakeview, we hope to live out our mission statement of “making more disciples for Jesus Christ by taking risks and changing lives. We preach relevant Biblical truth with a contemporary flair. Our philosophy is every member partnering in ministry. At Lakeview, you will be more than a member; you will be a part of a team that helps to advance the kingdom of God. We work hard to help you connect with Jesus through worship, fellowship, study, and missions. We have fantastic children and youth programs. I hope that you will consider visiting us and begin to start living out the kingdom of God.
